Propelled down the dragstrip by an angry 10-litre(!) Chevrolet V8 monster, this 1974 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow nails the quarter mile in 7.94 seconds, at a staggering 281 kph.
Prepared by WG Racing, this car is apparently two seconds faster that a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport timed on the quarter mile. In drag racing terms, that’s a century. Now, the world’s best car is also one of the fastest.
