I have a Maruti Ritz Zxi car but i am facing a big problem with breaking system. Initially rear break is not working properly but now a day front break also not working properly. Any can help me what to do... I have already brought down to service center but they are not able to solve the problem. Somany peoples are facing the same problem with Maruti Ritz car with same problem.

I own Ritz ZXi ABS since July 2010. Superb Car in all respect, fully loaded, need not add anything, real Top end car for its price and fuel economy, it’s a great buy. It really deserved Car of the Year 2010. Thank god Nano didn't get it. It’s a total all-round failure. Everyone knows now. Familiar Tata story! Isn't it? Never good in first go. No comparison to Maruti Stables of Cars. Hats off Maruti! You have done it again. Keep it up.

I just cant tolerate those who simply say the rear looks is not good. Well, initially when Swift came to India, it didnt move well, it was a frog leaping forward kinda look, but slowly people accepted and Swift is still a hit now. But Swift has more dents and scratches than any other compact car which I have ever noticed in my city - Coimbatore. Also Wagon R mostly Keralites prefer a lot. I can see few Ritz in Coimbatore running. Proud owner of Ritz VXI (Petrol) and bought it on 21/10/2009 Racing Green color and use always with the AC on. Its really superbly silent engine, amazing performance. Its got lot of room, compared to all the compact small cars or hatchbacks in Suzuki stable in India, Ritz only got more legroom, headroom and space and roominess for the driver seat so as to stretch during traffic jams and or long RED light countdown timers at a signal. I am 6 feet tall, and I sat down in all the vehicles by pushing the front seats fully to the behind and also went back to have

Welldone. You proved that my decision is not wrong. Recently i realised that RITZ is very safe car in its league. Totally value for money car. Spare parts also not costly.Andit is totally maintainess free car.In Delhi you will get wonderful service from Maruti dealers.

I am proud owner of Ritz (LDI) bought on Sept 09, Indeed it is Car of The Year (Or shall we say dacade?) It has given me a mixed milage of 19.5 KMPL with AC on, and you know How I calculated over all average? My audometer shows 5174 Kms and total fuel I poured in is 265 liters (I have all bills with KM reading). Driving is excellent, wether its highway, hill or crowded traffic in small lanes of Ahmedabad. How ever there are still scopes of improvements but still love it. Hates off to Maruti..

Hi Vivek,to answer to your query,I would just like to know that how come one,who has not bought a car,can fully know and speak about it? A test drive is just not enough to give any comment about any new car.It is the users only, who use the product on a regular basis, and face real-life situations while driving and thus give some valuable comment.Thats happening in case of Ritz also.It has recently got the award for highest customer satisfaction & a huge bunch of satisfied customers, and they'ld definitely appreciate this decision of COTY award to Ritz! btw,Ritz might be an upgrade of Wagon R (in international mkt)but its just on papers,if you have seen it properly, its a huge leap forward over Wagon-R,u need to drive and see it propeorly to know that. The engine of Ritz is a gem and the best petrol engine of 2009. Nano is definitely an engineering marvel and it should get credit for that, but doesn't mean that any other good product of this year should be underestimated/ignored while de

Hi Rajeev, I am getting a mileage of 15-16 kmpl in city driving (with 20% AC,being on the roads of Kolkata) and on two/three of my highway drives, the mileage was around 18-19 kmpl (mostly without AC).

i had bought a RITZ VXi (Petrol) last Oct after selling my Maruti 800. I had both SWIFT and RITZ in my mind. But the New K Series engine and the tall boy look of the car made feel a LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT for this car.The rear of the car gives afresh look to RITZ and it stands alone in the road with this look. Now as i drive this car it gives me immense pleasure with all comforts . I think it is the best decision to give the COTY 2010 to RITZ . hats off Maruti!!

I fully support & appreciate the decision of BSM in choosing Maruti Ritz as COTY-2010. I am using Ritz Vxi (Petrol Version) since Aug'2009 & I am totally sold on this beautiful car. Driving comfort is phenomenal. I recently drove it from Jabalpur to Nagpur (310 km) and back the same day and you know the average it gave -- fantastic 22.8 kmpl !!! Congrats to Maruti.

Ritz aptly deserves this award! I am owning this car (Ritz VXi) for the last two months and extremely saitisfied with my decision. It has got superb drive-quality,stability,comfort and mileage, all clubbed together in one single package and way ahead all its segemenr-competitors. Although Nano is an engineering marvel, but that doesn't mean that it can take away the credit that a car like Ritz deserves, because Ritz would also be entitled for this award in this year only!In the similar manner that Swift,i10,and other cars were given their due credit for being best car of in their respective years,Ritz is also given the honour that it fully deserves. Congrats BS Motoring...

Dear Sourav What mileage do u get from ur vehicle
Posted by Vivek at 11th January,2010
Surprising that its only the owners of Ritz who say that its worth the COTY award. Why does no one who hasnt bought the car say so? Ritz may be a true european concept or better, but the jury clearly missed the point that they need to use this platform to reward exceptional efforts. Ritz is just an upgrade of Wagon R and any which way you look at it, its just that(except the back which no one knows what it looks like). What is so ingenuine about this effort from Maruti (they copied the gear integrated with centre console from COTY 2008 - i10). To me Tata Nano is the clear winner with genuine appreciation for ingenuine design and effort to manage ultra low design - World respects this efforts today - not BSM. Surprise! and even disappointing.

I guess the choice is just not rationale enough. The Ritz is simply an ugly car and no matter how good the engine or performance may be, the design of the car simply lets it down big time. The sale figures of the car also nothing great to mention, needless to say that when ever u visit a maruti dealer, every other salesman is trying to push Ritz to a level that one gets irritated after sometime. People are still more swifts than Ritz. For me, Nano would have been without doubts the obvious choice because its revolutionary to say the least. Else, Linea is also a close contender as the features that it offers as compared to the price tag is simply unbeatable. Ritz as COTY is simply disappointment for me.

I have booked RITZ VDI and i am really happy with my choice. Most of ma collegues say it has got d worst design at the rear. But it's d rear design which i luv d most. Its a Europen styling n as we Indians are not used to this dey jst dont accept it.Now With RITZ winning the car of the year award i feel really proud and its a gr8 punch for ma collegues comments. It has got trendy looks,gr8 fuel economy, nice interiors and the most important factor fantastic price tag.On the whole the car is a complete package.

i bought a new Ritz . it's excellent and I feel great for my choice. It gives 19 km/pl on high way and 16/pl in city with AC. The smoothness of the engine is better than the punto or others in the class. With full load the performance of the engine is excellent, the shift from 2-3 is much better than other car. The high seating position gives you great comfort while driving. The car is very spacious and excellent for elders to feel comfortable..ritz is a great choice compared with punto,i20

While the Ritz is a good car, but good cars come and go every year..I think the BSM jury clearly missed the fact that an achievement like the Nano only comes once in a lifetime...sad for a knowledgeable jury to be so shallow in judgement...anyways, your award, your call...

Shocked ,the TATA NANO is winner for us...but..ok ritz is good, but you wasted the opportunuity to crown the Excellence of Indian Automobile Engineering....sad..the jury award seems like consolation for us.

Not at all surprising to see the Ritz as the winner of BSM's jury. However, I agree with Car-isma, the Nano it is for me. There will never be another Nano in our lifetime but there will be lots of cars like the Ritz after the Auto Expo next year. Sounds emotional but true.

I own a Ritz but would agree COY goes to Ritz. Nano is not COY it is Car of The Millennium. But only one advice to Tata Motors improve your after sales service a 1000 times.
