And India has become the 100th country to have the Mini drive into it. Infinity Cars has opened the country's first exclusive Mini dealership in Mumbai - a 12,000 square foot facility with two levels. The facility will soon have an all day restaurant as well. Service centres for the Mini will be located in Worli and Chembur. BMW will also also launch two more dealerships in India later this year - Deutsche Motoren and Bird Motoren in Delhi. Overall the company plans on between five to six dealerships across the country by the end of the year and Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune and Chandigarh are all being considered.
The Mini is available as a hatch, convertible and in the Countryman range as well.
The Mini Cooper S comes powered by a 1598cc 4-cylinder petrol motor that makes 122 bhp and 16.31 kgm of torque. The Cooper S features a powerplant that makes 184 bhp and 24.47 kgm of torque.

Cooper - Rs 25.5 lakh
Cooper S - Rs 28.6 lakh
Convertible - Rs 30.7 lakh
Cooper S Countryman - Rs 32.8 lakh
Cooper S Countryman High - Rs 35.9 lakh
The Mini Cooper range has already received over 100 bookings across India. Deliveries of the new Mini Coopers will start next month, with the company targetting 20 to 30 deliveries per month.
