Jaguar has declared that it is keen on launching a car positioned below the Jaguar XF in order to have a competitive rivalry with the BMW 3 Series.
The company also revealed that they have a new 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine ready, which has already been launched in China. Jaguar is also developing a straight 4 petrol engine.
And while the company stated that they were keen on launching an XFR-S model, they also declared that development work on the highly awaited C-X16 model is nearly though. The company has also been developing other hybrid and all-wheel drive models too.
Jaguar currently has a 6.5 per cent stake in the luxury and premium car market in India. The company also estimates that the global luxury car market will grow by 43 per cent to 40 million units between 2011 and 2020, as compared to the previous decade. And Jaguar is getting ready for just this!
