James Bond's ride has finally arrived on our shores. Aston Martin, the Gaydon based manufacturer of supercars is now in India and has opened its first showroom here in Mumbai.
Speaking at a press conference, the company announced that it has opened its first showroom in the commercial capital, with the national capital to be the next. BS Motoring was the first to report, as far back as 2010 that Mumbai based Infinity Motors and Delhi based Deutsche Motoren will be the dealer representatives for Aston Martin in India. Both dealers have a target to sell over 50 cars in the first year of operations, of which over 30 cars have already been delivered.
Aston Martin will offer its whole range of cars in India, from the basic V8 Vantage to the ultra-exclusive One-77 hypercar. Prices of some of the cars in the range are as under:
V8 Vantage - Rs 1.35 crore onwards
Rapide - Rs 2.3 crore onwards
DBS - Rs 2.5 crore onwards
DBS convertible - Rs 2.7 cr onwards
One-77 - Rs 20 crore onwards
