Commercial vehicle major Ashok Leyland has posted 24.9% jump in sales at 9,785 units for July.
The Chennai-headquartered company had sold 7,834 units in the same month last year.
Sales of commercial vehicle (excluding its latest small commercial vehicle Dost), declined by 11% to 6,982 units, as against 7,834 units sold during the same month of last year.
Sales of the SCV Dost during July 2012 stood at 2,803 units, the statement said.
