The Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen is one helluva off-roader, often cited as one of the best off-roaders there is. So, when it came down to driving 16,800 kilometers from Germany to India via the exotic terrains of Russia, Kazakhstan, Tibet, China and the Everest Base camp, there was hardly a better vehicle for the job.
