Bajaj Auto, country's No.2 motorcycle maker and the top producer of motorised 3-wheeled rickshaws, reported a 16% jump in its June vehicle sales at 366,657 units. In the corresponding period a year ago, the company sold 315,422 units.
Motorcycle sales were up 14% at 322,827 units from 282,408 units a year ago.
Exports sprang 25% to 142,124 units as against 114,024 units sold in June 2010.
Stocks were up 0.59% at Rs 1,429 on Bombay Stock Exchange at 1105 hours.
