  • Who would’ve thought that the base for this gorgeous custom motorcycle would be the not-particularly-awesome 1982 Yamaha Virago? Classified Moto – a custom motorcycle building outfit based out of the US of A – build this gorgeous motorcycle that mixes cues from a whole lot of motorcycles. • They took a rather well-kept 1982 Yamaha XV920R aka the Virago, a decidedly 80s take on the V-Twin cruiser – Yamaha’s first V-Twin cruiser and also one of the first production motorcycles with a monoshock at the back. And Classified Moto has really come through with this build, with their signature sportsbike cycle parts swap and a perfectly executed industrial cool look.
  • The front end comes from a ’09 Yamaha R6 and the rear suspension & swing arm is adapted from a 2008 R6-S, working with a Triumph Daytona shock. They opted for flat bars instead of clip-ons considering the kind of riding this will be subject to and is equipped with a custom-built exhaust system, custom foot control and a rather nice looking headlight.
  • The bare metal finished tank is from a Benelli Mojave (weird!) and looks incredibly awesome. The minimalist red band on the tank looks darn good with the Classified Moto logo, the stripped-down look and the big V-Twin in the middle make it look extremely cool without even trying. The golden finished forks help in no small amounts either.
  • Even though the power figure isn’t the greatest, with such drastic weight shedding and superbike running gear, this thing will be an absolute hooligan to ride! And when you stop outside the local pub, you’ll cause traffic jams. What a motorcycle!
